100 Countries Before 40

After turning 30 in September 2012, I decided I needed to have a goal in life. Since travel is my life, I decided what better goal to have than to visit 100 countries by the time my next significant birthday rolls around.

My goal is to have visited 100 countries before I turn 40.

I’ll be tracking my progress here on Flashpacker Family. So, how am I progressing? As of April 2013, I’ve visited 22 countries.

Great reading Bethany … I’m sure you’ll succeed! We’re a family of five travelling in S America, I’m looking for inspiration to work/travel, so interesting to read your thoughts… Like the idea of 100 countries…. mine would have to be before I’m 50 though! Are you still in NZ? Best wishes, Mo (the Clark Family Amazing Adventures)

      Hi Mo!

We’re still in New Zealand… currently plotting our escape though! Our travels at the moment are totally dependent upon the sale of our house in the next few weeks/months. It’s a very exciting time… we’re on the verge of full time travel but just need this one final duck to line up in a row!

Feel free to jump onboard with 100 countries before 50. How many have you already been to? I’ve got 9.5 years to see 77 countries so I’m not doing to badly.

I’m just poking through your blog now.

      Bethaney

Nice goal young lady :) . I’m at 108 and not yet 50. Indonesia was the last one; just last week. I want to visit them all, but have not capped an age on it. I visit them as the opportunities presents themselves.

    I’ll be following your travels.

    Kerwin.
