Social media is a great tool for travel planning and becoming connected with a community of like-minded travellers online. You can connect with us on social media in the following ways:

Facebook – I’m on Facebook every day. Probably too many hour a day! On my Facebook page I share links to my own blog posts and occasionally other blog posts if they’re fantastic. I also share photos and videos of what we’re up to in real time. I love to encourage discussions on Facebook and to hear from YOU about your travel plans & ideas.
Twitter – On Twitter I share a lot of links to blog posts from Flashpacker Family as well as other travel blogs that I follow. A lot of these are family travel blogs.
Instagram – I love Instagram! It’s such a fun social network and one with no link sharing so it’s just about the beauty of travel. I share travel photos on Instagram in real time. You’ll see a beautiful photo almost every day when we’re travelling.
Pinterest – As a mom, I love Pinterest! Not only is it great for craft and play ideas but it’s also an excellent resource for travel planning. I suggest you create boards for trips that are coming up so that you can collect ideas for things to do. It’s a really useful way of collating your travel information.
