- Weight – If you’re packing your travel tea kettle in a suitcase or carry on for overseas travel then go as lightweight as possible to minimize your luggage weight. If you’re using it for RVing you probably should be more concerned with the size rather than the weight.

It’s also safe as has a boil dry prevention feature and auto shut off after boiling. This is a stainless steel travel kettle so it’s good quality and won’t impart a plastic-y or metallic taste on your hot drinks.
Note that there’s also a non-dual voltage version of this kettle also. It’s slightly lighter in weight at 1.1 lbs but cannot be used abroad.
